From December 1 to 2, 2025, a nine-member delegation led by Lục Quang Tấn, President of the Ha Giang Campus of Thai Nguyen University in Vietnam, visited Wenshan University. Through various forms of interaction such as on-site inspections and consultation sessions, the two sides deepened mutual trust and officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), laying a solid foundation for comprehensive educational cooperation between the two institutions.

On the afternoon of December 1, accompanied by Vice President Tang Long of Wenshan University, the delegation visited several key locations including the teaching building, student canteen, and the campus library, gaining in-depth insights into the university’s teaching layout and student facilities. At core teaching sites such as the Journalism Training Center, Intelligent Manufacturing Training Center, Notoginseng Technology Innovation Demonstration Basement, and Jing Dong Training Center, the delegation attentively listened tto briefings on facility configuration, practical curriculum design, and achievements in industry–education integration.

The delegation highly praised Wenshan University’s integration of local dominant industries such as Notoginseng medicine and intelligent manufacturing with academic programs, and especially commended the university’s high-quality practical teaching conditions and distinctive educational features.

On the morning of December 2, the delegation first visited and engaged in exchanges at the Bronze Beating Workshop, Zhuang Paper-Cutting Studio, and Printmaking Studio at the university’s Heritage and Innovation Center.Subsequently, Gui Zhenghua, Secretary of the CPC Committee of Wenshan University, met with the delegation. The two sides held in-depth discussions on the deep historical and cultural ties between China and Vietnam and the future direction of cultural and educational exchanges, further strengthening the emotional foundation for cooperation between the two institutions.

At 10:00 am, a consultation meeting and the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two universities were held in Room 314 of Wenxian Building, presided over by Vice President Tang Long extended a warm welcome to the visiting delegation and provided a comprehensive overview of the university’s development, highlighting its educational characteristics, discipline development, and achievements in international exchanges.
