At the beginning of the Chinese New Year in 2025, a delegation from Thai Nguyen University School of Foreign Languages, Vietnam, visited Wenshan University to carry out friendly exchange activitie. On the morning of February 27, a discussion meeting between the representatives of the two universities was held. The event was attended by leaders from Wenshan University’s Department of International Cooperation and Exchange and the School of Humanities and Media, with Director Shi Yingfeng of The Department of International Cooperation and Exchange presiding over the meeting.

During the meeting, the representatives of both universities conveyed greetings on behalf of their leadership. Director Shi Yingfeng introduced Wenshan University’s basic information and the achievements of cooperation between the two universities. She expressed hopes for continued deepening of educational collaboration. Dean of the School of Humanities and Media outlined the progress of Chinese language education at Wenshan University and the work of Vietnamese foreign teachers from Thai Nguyen University at Wenshan. He proposed further collaboration in areas such as teacher exchanges.

Ms.Phùng Tị Tuyết, head of the Vietnamese delegation, expressed her gratitude for the warm reception and thoughtful services provided by Wenshan University for Vietnamese students’ enrollment. She also introduced the basic educational situation at Thai Nguyen University’s Foreign Languages Faculty and shared her vision for further cooperation between the two institutions. The two sides discussed in depth areas such as Chinese language education, teacher exchanges, research cooperation, and recruitment, reaching a preliminary consensus. Both parties expressed their commitment to advancing the implementation of the cooperation intentions discussed. At the end of the meeting, both delegations exchanged souvenirs and took a group photo.

After the meeting, the Vietnamese delegation attended the 2025 Spring Semester opening ceremony for the Vietnamese students and visited classrooms, dormitories, and other facilities to gain a first-hand understanding of the learning and living support conditions for the students.
