    Director of the Northern California Chinese Museum Visited Wenshan University

    On July 2, 2025, Brian Tom, Director of the Chinese American Museum of Northern California, visited Wenshan University, accompanied by Mr. Duan Ziyong, Secretary-General of the Standing Committee of the Wenshan Prefectural Peoples Congress. The visit aimed to foster exchange on the preservation and transmission of ethnic culture.

    During the visit, Director Brian Tom and his delegation toured the Chu Tunan Special Collection and the Complete Library of the Four Treasuries at the university library, as well as the graduate exhibition on the first floor. They also visited and engaged in exchanges at the Bronze Beating Workshop, Zhuang Paper-Cutting Studio, and Printmaking Studio at the universitys Heritage and Innovation Center.

    Director Tom spoke highly of Wenshan Universitys achievements in preserving ethnic cultural heritage, innovating traditional crafts, and advancing art education. Representatives from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, the University Library, and the School of Fine Arts and Design accompanied the delegation throughout the visit. Staff members from the Office of the Standing Committee of the Wenshan Prefectural Peoples Congress also participated in the event.
